Title: Recommendations for the use of the term "recovery"
in analytical procedures
Task Group
Chair : D T Burns
Members: A. Townshend
and K. Danzer
Completion Date: 2002 - project completed
Objective:
To avoid confusion between various usages of the term "recovery"
in chemical analysis.
Description:
Literature review has shown the term "recovery" is used to express two
separate concepts in reporting results of chemical analysis. To avoid
confusion the two uses are to be differentiate by clear definition and
terminology.
Progress:
The project was discussed in Berlin and is in progress. A draft
of this project is currently under evaluation by commission V.1
A final document is submitted to public review comments until 31 January
2002 > see provisional
