Here are the latest News & Notices issued by the Union and the Union's bodies.
The latest developments of the IUPAC website, News Archives, and the e-news are also accessible from this area.

Organizations & People

Read about IUPAC to learn who we are and what we do. View the organization chart, and locate people within various bodies of the Union. Browse the Index of Members.

Standing Committees

Eight committees coordinate the work of the Union in various areas of chemistry, such as nomenclature and symbols, educational and industrial concerns.

Divisions

Almost 1200 chemists throughout the world are engaged on a voluntary basis in the scientific work of IUPAC. Eight divisions -disciplines of chemistry- constitute the core of active research.

Projects

IUPAC encourages the submission of projects in all areas of chemistry relevant to its work. This area contains information on how to submit a project, on current projects and related information.

Reports

The completion of a project usually results in the preparation of a report or recommendation. These reports are sorted here by disciplines and compiled with their references. As part of the reviewing process, IUPAC seeks public comments -your comments- on provisional recommendations.

Publications

Conferences & Symposia

Each year IUPAC sponsors a large number of symposia that cover a wide range of specialized topics in chemistry. Look here for the calendars, complete contact information, and reference of resulting publication. Information on how to apply for sponsorship and financial support, access to other conference calendars are also available.

Affiliate Membership Program - AMP
