COMMISSION ON HIGH TEMPERATURE MATERIALS AND SOLID
STATE CHEMISTRY (II.3)
Number: 230/29/95
Title: Teaching Experiments in Solid State Chemistry
Coordinator(s): M.
Kizilyalli
Remarks: Collaboration with CTC
In 2001, the continuation as a 2-year project was approved.
>See Project 2000-020-2-200
for Task Group Members and project description.
Objective:
The purpose of this project is to help University-level instructors
include more material on the solid state in the basic chemistry curriculum
by providing descriptions of tested laboratory experiments illustrating
important aspects of solid state chemistry.
Progress:
21 experiments have been collected. Few have been tested by another
laboratory. The rest, together with the new added experiments will
be tested during the coming 2 years (2001-2003) by commission members.
