Abstract:
An overview of current ways of automating or accelerating the preliminary
steps of the analytical process is presented as a way of emphasizing
the role of these steps in the final results. Sampling and weighing,
dissolution, leaching or physical removal, in addition to clean-up and
preconcentration are the steps discussed along with this overview.
