Abstract: In the conversion of nonaboranes B9H13SMe2
to azanonaboranes B8NH11-NHR, one boron atom is
lost. This boron atom was identified, and a pathway for the rearrangement
of the cluster is proposed, based on the fate of covalently labeled
boron atoms.
