General Assembly (GA) is the occasion for meetings of the
statutory bodies of the Union, specifically of the Council,
Bureau, Division Committees, and Standing Committees.
IUPAC General Assembly will be held 4-12 August 2007, in
Torino, Italy, concurrently with the 41st
IUPAC Congress. This Information Booklet contains information
regarding the arrangements for the General Assembly.
The GA venue
will be in the facilities of the Universita di Torino and the
Politecnico di Torino, located in the right hand side of the Lingotto

an exhibition building, a hotel, an art gallery, a shopping centre,
a multiplex cinema, car parks, and various restaurants and cafés.
